Third in this series is a male goldfinch in full breeding plumage. Here in North Texas we usually see goldfinches when they migrate for the winter, but this year three in full breeding plumage stopped over in my backyard and I was able to get a few photographs. This series has been created for a specific purpose. All paintings in this series are $35. Five dollars will be retained for postage & handling, and $30 will be donated to Tarrant Area Food Bank. Each week, TAFB is able to provide access to 600,000 nutritious meals through a network of over 330 pantries and area feeding programs. I took the reference photo for this painting in April 2020.
