In 2019 I saw my first backyard hummingbirds after planting several Turk's Cap, a native Texas shrub that has red flowers attractive to hummers. I was thrilled to capture photos of this lovely bird. This series has been created for a specific purpose. All paintings in this series are $35. Five dollars will be retained for postage & handling, and $30 will be donated to Tarrant Area Food Bank. Each week, TAFB is able to provide access to 600,000 nutritious meals through a network of over 330 pantries and area feeding programs. I took the reference photo for this painting in Sept 2019.
